Transitions

Dear Circus Project community,

We’re writing with a bittersweet update: last week, Jenn Cohen, the Circus Project’s founder, resigned her formal role with the organization as a member of the board of directors. As Jenn turns her focus and passion to new artistic pursuits, this marks a significant moment in the Circus Project’s evolution.

Jenn started the Circus Project in 2008 with the unbridled passion of an artist on a mission. Under her vision and extraordinary work ethic, the organization grew from a bold idea in a written thesis, into the thriving social circus institution it is today. Jenn invested a decade of moxie, leadership, and personal dedication to manifesting this vision. Though Jenn will no longer have a formal role in shaping the future of the organization, we remain committed to Jenn’s audacious idea to use circus arts as a catalyst for personal and collective transformation.

As our community and leadership continues to grow and mature, we will continue to do what the Circus Project has always done: support artistic growth, catalyze transformation, and reach skyward. Cheers to the next chapter -- both for Jenn as an artist and visionary, and to the Circus Project as an evolving community.

Warmly,

Kirsten Collins, Executive Director &
Linda McGeady, Board Chair
