The Outdoor Domes are here!
The Outdoor Domes are The Circus Project’s new, satellite location. This unique circus studio is based on two geodesic domes, that are specially reinforced for aerial and connected with an arch for performances. It provides a total of 13 new aerial points! The domes will function as a class space during the day and convert to an outdoor performance venue in the evenings.
The Outdoor Domes will increase access to circus training while gathering in our indoor studio is limited due to the current health crisis. It will also provide a needed expansion for our programming, and will continue to act as a seasonal, satellite location in future years. They bring the added benefit of training in fresh air, and provide a healthy place for artists to gather, train and create. They are becoming an iconic addition to the Portland arts scene and we are so excited that they have become a reality!

We are so very grateful to all of our supporters who made this a reality!
We are grateful to the substantial support from the Marie Lamfrom Foundation. Our lead donors were: Donna Flanders and Carl Collins, Joe and Dede DeJager, Ann and Mark Edlen, David Lynn, Jennifer and William Martinak, Linda and Steve McGeady, Dania Tuscano Miwa, Charlotte Rubin, Rick and Halle Sadle, Jeanine and Ken Ward, Susie Williams and an anonymous supporter. We are also so grateful to the 77 donors that supported our crowdfunding campaign.
We couldn’t have done this without the generous support of Zidell Yards, who provided the location, and for Guildworks and Trevor Blackann, who went above and beyond in making the structure come to life.
